Lee Street State Special School provides an educational program to support students from Years 7-12 with a suspected or verified disability. Students who attend Lee Street State Special School must have an intellectual disability as their primary disability. Students may have an additional disability including autism spectrum disorder, physical impairment, hearing or vision impairment.
For children of compulsory school age, enrolment is subject to the process outlined in Education Queensland’s Procedure: Enrolment in state primary, secondary and special schools which can be located on the Departments website.
If your child is currently enrolled in a school (either Special School or State Secondary School), and you are considering enrolling in our school, your first conversation needs to be with your current school’s Guidance Officer.
If your child is not attending a Queensland State School then you can ring our school and our Guidance Officer will assist you with your enquiry.
