Welcome to the Lee Street State Special
School website. As a foundation school that opened in 2020 on Gubbi Gubbi
country, we are proud of the achievements of our students and staff as we have
established a culture of high expectations for all. We are a specialised
secondary schooling facility that delivers the Australian Curriculum to
students who have diverse learning needs. The focus Equity and Excellence
ensures that at Lee Street State Special School we work towards every student
realising their individual potential. With the support of parents and carers as
partners in learning, students work towards developing skills that enhance
their options for a life of choice.
Students access curriculum content that
enriches and empowers their understanding of the world, with a focus on
development of communication and literacy skills. We are proud to identify as
‘Lee Street Learners’.
